    Our Leadership way sets out what great leadership looks like at every level and how we create the Oxleas difference, through leading with personal impact, building compassionate, inclusive, high performing teams and delivering excellent patient care.

    Our leadership way has a supporting framework that sets out the behaviours and competencies required for the different levels of leadership. Our leadership way is fully aligned to the NHS England Management and Leadership Framework, which brings together, Leadership standards and competencies, A national code of practice and clear expectations for leaders at every level, which all leaders across the NHS are expected to work towards. Whether you are a clinical or non-clinical leader, new to management or in a senior role, these are the standards we all work towards, creating a consistent and supportive leadership culture across the Trust.

  • The areas Our Leadership Way Framework focuses on;

    Our Leadership Way framework focuses on 3 overarching focus areas.

    • Leading Self – We Lead with self-awareness, integrity, accountability and compassion, taking time to develop ourselves and understand the impact of our actions on others.
    • Leading Teams and Resources – We lead by building inclusive, high-performing teams where people feel valued, and by managing resources effectively to deliver strong outcomes, positive experiences and high performance.
    • Leading with Quality and Partenership – We lead through partnerships, working across boundaries and systems to deliver safe, high-quality and sustainable care, improving outcomes and experiences for the populations we serve.
